"Ri" in Sherpa means hill, though it is nearly 18000 feet / 5500 meters tall, like Kala Pattar. Equivalent views of Everest (but from a bit farther away) and wonderful views westward too, plus beautiful alpine lakes.

Trek to the fabled Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar (12,500').
